Monday morning

Well, it's been a couple days, and I haven't had a chance to write. Chris came back from his mom's house on Saturday. He was gone for 3 days and it felt like 1000 years. It was really good to see him. He spent the night here on Saturday night, but I won't get to see him again until Wednesday probably. They say absence makes the heart grow fonder. I say absence makes the heart grow antsy. :)

I got my Christmas decorations up. Last year, I didn't put any up, not even a tree. This year they are up really early. But that's ok, because Christmas is a beautiful time of year, though I admit on this, the Monday after Thanksgiving, I've almost had my fill of Christmas carols. Love the songs, but there are only so many of them. Really, how many different arrangements of "O Holy Night" are there? I think our local radio station has them all. I'm really not being a scrooge here, but for so long, the real meaning of Christmas has been hidden by the reports of increases (or decreases) in net sales.

Incidentally, my cat thinks he his helping me write this. How do you tell a cat that he is more of a hinderance than a help? If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. He helped me put up my Christmas tree too. It is certifiably safe for cat climbing. GRR.

Well, I think that's all I have for now, so check back and see whats going on later.
