Here I am again. I am once again writing while waiting to practice with my piano player for my solo. Solo and ensemble contests are this Saturday. I’ll let you know how I do. I have to go get Mr. Smith now.

My mom and dad have been in Puerto Rico since April 5. They were supposed to come home last Saturday, but they couldn’t get a machine to work, so they had to stay down there for a while. Dad told me they should be home by Wednesday. Grandma and Grandpa Brady have been staying with us while they are down there.

I have to go baby-sit this evening. While I’m there, I will work on my Algebra. I have about five lessons to make up because I just didn’t want to do my homework before. Now I have to do it.

I have read an article about keeping a journal. It talked about a couple that kept one and looked back on it years later. One thing I am really excited about it that I get to work out at Camp CHOF this summer. I will probably get to write daily about what happens. I was told I get to move my stuff out starting June 4.

Right now I am at school waiting to practice with my piano player for solo and ensemble. I have about an hour and a half before I begin to practice. In Language Arts, we are reading Ivanhoe. That book was slow at the beginning but it gets better.
