The time is 1:00 am, so it’s really 6/29/91. I think I’m ready to write for a while. I told you I’d let you know if something big happened. Here is the whole story. I have been buying pornographic magazines for about 7 months. About two weeks ago I told my parents. Boy, did that take a lot of guts. I told them I didn’t want anything to do with pornography again. Well, you can say anything you want, but what happens can be different. That is the situation here. I have bought two more since telling my parents. I haven’t told them about the next two magazines. Here’s the problem. If you take something away, you have to replace it with something else. That is the key. That is why I bought two more magazines. I never replaced the magazines with the Bible. Starting tonight, I am replacing them with the Bible. I learned how to do that last Sunday. I will write what I learn about each of the Old and New Testaments. I will also write and learn one verse every day. I can do this. I really think it would be fun. I am trying to get myself psyched up so if and when I get into a slump, I can come back and read this, thereby psyching myself up to do it again. Maybe I can tell Charity the verses I learn each week. I also want to get involved in church activities, maybe even work out at Camp CHOF next summer. I remember two years ago, and it was really fun. Maybe I can be a counselor. Boy, I am ready to go.
