I went out tonight with Natalie Lucid.  I guess this could be the first date, even though it really isn't. Let me explain.  The first time we went out, it was supposed to be a group date with my Bible study. Nobody else could make it.  That was on November 13. Then we kind of went to the zoo together for the Crusade Christmas Party. That was on the 4th of December. So tonight was the first time I asked her out because I wanted to. That is not to say that I didn't want to before, it just was that someone else had the idea to go out.

Tonight was a bundle of fun. My car was acting up as was expected because of all the idling required. We went to Sharon Woods for the Christmas light display. It was pretty good, but not worth six bucks. Anyway, I broke out the hot chocolate while we were waiting, and she thought that was considerably funny. We enjoyed the drink and continued on our way.  I gave her a tape of Brad's and an O Henry book. She was very appreciative.  I went back to her house and she invited me in. I stayed there until almost 11:00. She walked me to the door, and I wanted to kiss her or hug her or something, but I didn't want to initiate anything too soon.  We'll see what happens after Christmas!
